Christmas Tree Crochet Pattern

Materials:
– Green yarn (100 grams/185 metres) (4 colours)
– Brown yarn (20 grams/185 metres)
– Crochet hook size 2.5mm
– Fiberfill for stuffing
– Yarn needle
– Scissors
– Red bead embellishment (optional)

Pattern:

Tree Trunk (Make 1):
1. With brown yarn, make a magic ring. Chain 1.
2. Row 1: 6 single crochet (sc) into the magic ring. (6 stitches)
3. Row 2: 1 sc in each stitch around. (6 stitches)
4. Rows 3-5: Repeat Row 2. (6 stitches)
5. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for attaching to the tree.

Tree (Make 1):
1. With green yarn, make a magic ring. Chain 1.
2. Row 1: 6 sc into the magic ring. (6 stitches)
3. Row 2: 2 sc in each stitch around. (12 stitches)
4. Row 3: [1 sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] around. (18 stitches)
5. Row 4: [1 sc in next 2 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch] around. (24 stitches)
6. Row 5: [1 sc in next 3 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch] around. (30 stitches)
7. Row 6: [1 sc in next 4 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch] around. (36 stitches)
8. Rows 7-9: 1 sc in each stitch around. (36 stitches)
9. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for attaching to the trunk.

(You can continue repeating these rows, adding 1 extra stitch between increases on each subsequent row, to make a larger tree.)

Assembly:
1. Stuff the trunk and the tree with fiberfill.
2. Using the tail and yarn needle, sew the trunk to the bottom of the tree.

Decorations (Optional):
1. Sew red beads or other embellishments onto the tree for decorations.
