My Mini Monsters

Meet “My Mini Monsters,” the fun and lovable creatures designed by Claire Fairall! These peaceful little monsters are full of curiosity, always ready to explore and engage in deep conversations about life, the universe, and everything else. However, they need your help to find their perfect names since their Monster names are quite challenging for people to say.

Knitted flat with straight needles, these Mini Monsters have very few seams, making them easy and enjoyable to create. Simple shaping techniques such as kfb, k2tog, and p2tog are used throughout, and you’ll find row-by-row instructions to guide you every step of the way. This pattern is perfect for confident new knitters, providing a delightful project for you and your little ones to embark on together.

Each Mini Monster is unique, so you’ll have a fantastic time involving your kids and grandkids in naming them all. These adorable creatures measure 15cm/6″ tall when completed, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.

For knitting, you’ll need 3.25mm (UK 10 /US 3) straight needles or 5x Double Ended Needles for working in the round. The recommended yarn for this project is Stylecraft Special Knit DK or Paint Box Yarns Simply DK, and you’ll need 15g (45m/49yds) of yarn for each Mini Monster. Additionally, you’ll require 5g (15m/16yds) of black yarn, a few meters/yards of white yarn, 3 stitch holders, and toy stuffing to bring these charming creatures to life.
