This newborn baby cocoon and knotted hat is perfect to make for a baby boy or girl gift. It makes a great photo prop for newborn photos. (Please note the name on the baby cocoon in the preview was done with a cricut machine and HTV, instructions for this part are not included, for sewing part only)
The finished cocoon is for newborn babies to approx. newborn to 2 months, depending on the size of the baby. It measures approx. 19 inches long, 9 inches at widest part and 6.5 inches at the opening. The headband is for newborns heads, a circumference of approx. 13.5 inches.
This design is reversible so that you have more options, especially for photos.
This pattern is Easy to sew and has written instructions with LOTS of photos that make it easy to follow.
Fabric Needed: Knit (Stretchy) Fabric approx. 1.5 yards of each fabric or 1 .75 yards of one (if not making a contrasting color)
